Electrical Supervisor – Open Cut Operations
An opportunity exists for an Electrical Supervisor to join our Maintenance Team based in Gunnedah. You will be accountable for maximising the operating capacity and availability of all fixed plant and equipment across our Gunnedah Open Cut Operations.
Reporting to the Statutory Electrical Engineer, this role is responsible for planning and managing the day to day electrical maintenance activities and ensuring all maintenance plans and activities are carried out in compliance with statutory and company regulations, Australian Standards, and best engineering practises. You will also be responsible for managing our team of Electrical Tradespeople, Electrical Contractors and Apprentices.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications and qualities:
Electrical trade qualification
NSW Supervisors Licence (Essential)
S1, S2, S3 supervisor qualification (Desirable)
At least 5 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry
At least 2 years’ experience in an electrical supervisory role or equivalent
Well-developed skill set in planning and scheduling
Strong written and oral technical communication skills
