The Minerals Council of Australia (together with ACALET) have launched a national campaign to provide information about the Australian coal industry.
The Little Black Rock Campaign will cover TV, radio, press and online advertising. The key messages of the campaign are that:
- The industry makes a substantial economic contribution to jobs and growth
- Cleaner, higher efficiency coal-fired power stations are reducing CO2 emission by up to 40 per cent
- Coal demand will remain strong for decades.
