| Mining Operations: | The construction of the $227 Million Stage One Narrabri development is complete. First coal production was achieved by continuous miner in June 2010 and the second continuous miner went underground in August 2010. Four continuous miners are currently operating underground. The $300 million Stage Two development is currently under way with associated surface works, including the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant and fan shaft nearing completion. The longwall is currently being constructed with a view to commencing longwall production in mid-April 2012. |
