Whitehaven Coal is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified and experienced contractors for the four major work packages associated with the construction works for this landmark project.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a significant infrastructure development that will shape the future of the region.
Interested Main Contractors are invited to register their interest for one or more of the work packages based on their expertise, capacity, and experience. Participants can express interest in multiple packages but must clearly indicate their preferred areas of involvement.
To ensure efficient project management, Whitehaven intends to engage no more than four Main Contractors to complete the Major Work Packages. These Main Contractors will play a vital role in executing the project with their expertise and resources.
Local procurement opportunities exist for regional businesses to be part of the supply chain associated with the Vickery Extension Project. Businesses may register their interest as subcontractors, specialist trades and suppliers to the Main Contractors. By doing so, you can offer your specific services and expertise to support the successful completion of the project.

Only organisations that have completed works of comparable size and scope will be considered as potential Main Contractors. Registered subcontractors’ details will be made available to the successful shortlisted Main Contractors for their consideration.
